Anyways, I’m gonna walk through what I thought of the music video after I watched it a couple times. Because the first time I basically thought this:

Pretty much. But then I started to watch it a little more and I think I’ve finally been able to watch the video with a little less *fangirl squeal* and I’ve been able to comprehend the concept of the video and Soom itself.

So yes, the mv opens up with Junhyung on the ground. You should know that I never got the attraction of Junhyung. I don’t really like the eclectic style he has, nor the whole ‘I’m sorta a bad ass’ vibe he’s got going. But having him on the ground and his great rap at the beginning, he’s definitely growing on me, until of course:

“Oh heyyyyy, I’m bad ass Junhyung and imma fairy with feathers in my hairssss” Yeah, get rid of that Junhyung baby. It doesn’t work. And you wore it for the comeback stage? No. Just no. And fail. Your hair is the best it’s been in a while and people are taking it for an afro because you have a dead crow on your head. I don’t even care if it isn’t feathers. It looks like feathers so I’m right. Just stop it.
But yes, on the other hand, you on the ground is gold. Your rapping is gold. I do sorta like you. Sans feathers. Sorta.

DONGWOON. DONG-effing-WOON! Omg. Oh EM GEEEEE. omg yeah so I basically said OH MY GOD about a million times after I found out he sang that note in the beginning. I thought SURE it was Yoseob. But no its EFFING DONGWOON – MAKNAE LUVERRRR. I was just falling out of love with you, Dongwoon. You were my initial bias, just because you were underrated and we are both 1991-ers. It was just the perfect relationship. Then I started to watch all the Beast shows and I began to replace you with Kikwang. You knew it didn’t you? You KNEW I was cheating on you. So you decided to stomp back to first place by exercising your UNFtastic voice with that great ohhhhhhhhh. Yes, that is actually how you’re gonna sound when you do me. I wanna play that over and over at our wedding. I wanna play it forever. Where have you been hiding this? How can you be SO beautiful and SO talented….AND BECOME MORE BEAUTIFUL AND MORE TALENTED?!?! IT SO WRONG BUT SO RIGHT. You are perfect. I love the hair. I don’t want you to change, but you changed so much for this concept and totally pulled it off and I’m so excited to see what you have up your sleeve next. You are first bb. I’ll try not to cheat on you with Kikwang.

I won’t deny Doojoon is attractive. Sure. And he sounds aiight. But I don’t get him. I have nothing to say. The little glimpses of Kikwang and Dongwoon and even Yoseob made his part bearable. I’m happy for someone to shed the light on Doojoon. Please do. I have a bit of love for all of the members except for the leader. Really. I need to be awakened. The dancing during his part was pretty sweet though. The slow mo's were GOOD. I loved the cinematic parts of the video, and they were good during this first part with Doojoon. Like the slow mo twirl? Yes. LEGIT. I wanted you there, leader.
At this point, I’m just like “Hey! Whoever made the video is like super good!” I’m not really paying attention to the song/members (:O). But I have to pay attention to Kikwang. Yup. I love him like every other able bodied woman should. I do not like the pissed off Kiwi during this part. I hate it. He looks like a worried/ hormonal little boy. Then this LOL-tastic part happened:

2. Dongwoon, you look like you’re hoping Kikwang is a girl and getting a handful.

I love Kikwang. He sounds great (albeit pissed). I love it. Every time he says “gata” I scream a little inside. Soooo hot. And I’m actually likin the weird tattoos they gave him. Sorta. I don’t like mad Kiwi, I like adorable Kikwang, but it works. Especially in the right hand picture. Those veins. That face. Like come on. I wanna bang him so much.. Ugh. You look fantastic. Angry squished nose is just too much for me to handle. Oh and:

Even though this is sorta ridiculously hot, I laugh every time I see it. The look on Kikwang’s face is pure UNF, but the action is just funny. It seems like one of the boys put their hand in his shirt and did it.
*sigh*
When Breath came out and I listened to it, I was pumped pumped PUMPED to see the choreography for the chorus. The chorus sets every nerve in my body on fire. I love it so much. Yoseob sounds like an angry little sexy monster. It’s really good. Although I don’t understand Korean, I had to be able to sing along with this. Badly, but nevertheless sing.
However, the choreography disappointed me. I wanted it to be rough, fast, and amazing (hahahaha). It’s good. It’s just not wow. I mean, anyone could do that. I want Beast to be special and not have moves that any other normal person can do. Shock was amazing and difficult and it really showed off how freakishly talented these boys are. I really don’t think the dance was that difficult? I don’t want their hands covering their faces anyways.

Except for maybe the dancing was hard during this part. Yes, I loved this. Love love love. I love it when the get physical with their moves. It was also slightly intricate, especially when they were dealing with their whole bodies. This was good. I loved it. Good job Prepix and Mike Song. Overall, I think the choreography was….entertaining. I loved it at some parts. The breathing actions were cool, although a little overdone, but the producers of the music video made it look great.
Who have I forgotten? Oh yeah Hyunseung.

Ok. Lemme get this straight. I LOVE Hyunseung. I want to hold him forever in my arms and tell him how lovely he is. But Breath KILLED my attraction to Hyunseung for a whole 4 minutes. I don’t get it. First the stylists hate him. Clearly. Why the fuck would they give him those pants?! I don’t want to see your socks bb. He’s wearing so many layers, one must be a dress. NO. And that furry thing on your arm, what the fuck is that? You’re wearing a wifebeater, and your wrist is cold? NO. Then the camera man hates you obviously by filming you in a really gross state with the middle picture. I’m sorry. You look so bad in that still, but it’s the same thing in the mv for like 5 seconds! Greasy hair? Check. I don’t like dark hair at all on Hyunseung, I really don't, but whatever color this is sucks even more. Thank dear God its back to a reasonable color for the comeback (even though it is still dark). I love the boys in the rain, but you look like you were raped and left in the rain for days and a hobo gave you clothes. No. Just no. I love you Hyunseung. You were second! Now you’re back in third. You are lucky you are such an amazing dancer and I can’t hate you that much. I could never hate you, especially when you sold your soul for this.

Wow. It really looks like I hate Beast from this review :( But trust me. I most definitely don’t. I can’t comprehend how much I really love about this video. Visually, it was really good and dark, and I LOVED the story line with the girl (even though I wish I was her and the gas mask was Kikwang’s lips…). I love the concept for the new CD. I most definitely want to be a Mastermind. What I love even more is that Yoseob has brought me to the dark side. I get why people like him now. Yoseob, you made this video. I used to think you were just a little boy, but Breath made you MAN. Your live voice is PURE SEX. 100% SEX. Your dark hair is lovely, your angry face is gold, and your chorus is amazing. Your nose still sorta bothers me, but you sorta won me over Yoseobie!
